Deadly Business

The novel tells the story of Ellen, who has arrived in Uganda, a poverty-stricken country, in order to help suffering children at a clinic. Her illusions about the quality of care are quickly dispelled when she discovers that children are dying after being given fake antimalarial pills. When she turns to the local branch of the Institute for Combating Counterfeit Medicines she makes what could be a fatal mistake, having failed to realise that, behind this profitable business, there is a very powerful person... As a result she now has to protect not only the children, but also herself.
